We are having fun discussing past drafts but as it has been mentioned before by a few of us , if we take Tkachuk there is no Petey and Hughes. - VANTEL
I wanted a Dman. Juolevi just wasn't my guy. We've been over this before but you really need a legit 1D and 1C for the most part to win. D takes longer to develop. When Benning said they'd identified one future #1D I felt for sure it was Chychrun. That's what hurt on draft day. I'm sure you felt very similar with Sergachev. |

No problem.
Again...a MASSIVE organizational blunder. - bruceflyers
Yeah, thankfully he's still worth Nolan Patrick and a draft pick. You have anything else? |

Was he your guy at 5 pre-draft though? That's what I meant. I mean that was early and we knew Benning had a scouting background. I didn't agree with the pick but I put trust in it.
It's time for that pick to start playing some games. There's no 'giving him ice time' in the minors anymore as they don't exist. I want to see what we have. - golfingsince
I had Sergachev. Also said to trade down in that draft cuz thought a good D would be there. |

Weird, could have sworn the Flyers passed on the Calder winner at #2. Massive failure is a term you used.
Patrick is damaged goods and has been for awhile. His future is linked to the hospital, not hockey.
You really aren't good at this at all.

Dude...your team spent 5 x 6 mill on a super shtty tyler myers because your team has 0 D Depth.
How long do you think it will take fletcher to trade ghost this fall with 2 years at 4.5m???
How many teams will want to get in on that sweepstakes???
If you don’t think there’s something decent coming the other way...if you think ghost will just be a salary dump...then you probably do believe that the canucks will win a cup some millennium...i believe that you believe!! - bruceflyers

To be honest I think it's easy enough if you buy from a region that's had a good growing year. Some misses, but plenty of hits. - golfingsince
If you can afford to purchase on futures/release, by the case, have temperature/humidity controlled cellar space and the patience to wait at least a decade you can make some serious money. The BC Liquorstore website shows several wines for >$3000 that would have cost them less than $1000 at release. That’s a pretty good margin.
I saw a website today with $2700 bottle of mineral water. Bling I think it was called |

If you’re only planning on cellaring for a decade or so and you don’t have anything too amazing, any old basement closet will do. You just want it to be dark, and have a consistent temperature. |

So how bad is it? Also what is happening in Vancouver/Surrey? Is everything open or still under restrictions? |
