Weird, could have sworn the Flyers passed on the Calder winner at #2. Massive failure is a term you used.
Patrick is damaged goods and has been for awhile. His future is linked to the hospital, not hockey.
You really aren't good at this at all. - golfingsince

If you’re only planning on cellaring for a decade or so and you don’t have anything too amazing, any old basement closet will do. You just want it to be dark, and have a consistent temperature. - CubanBuffet
I have an old basement cold room that is used for storage but wines might do well down there...what is the temperature that is good? And what temperature is damaging? The temp. is very consistent but cold lol |

I guess it depends on the collector who’s purchasing. Some serious people will want to know the pedigree of the seller - how it was stored etc. I agree though, a dark basement or crawl space is totally fine. I used to own a town house in Calgary and the lowest floor under the stairs (on concrete) was ideal temperature. |

Consistency is most important, and cool is better than warm. 10 to 12 C is about ideal. As I just mentioned, my sub basement (was below ground about 4’ or so, was great when I was in Calgary. |

Canucks suck, the don’t deserve to and never will win a cup, Loui Eriksson is a bazillion times worse than any player in the history of hockey. That about covers it I think. |

Anywhere around 10 C is great. Much colder and the wine won’t age. You want to avoid extreme temperature swings. |

So how bad is it? Also what is happening in Vancouver/Surrey? Is everything open or still under restrictions? - LordHumungous
Penticton is packed, lots of young people, no one practicing social distancing. Most locals usually stay off the grid during tourist season. Beaches are full. I have a feeling bars and restaurants will be getting shut down again.

It’s kind of stunning actually, how people who I am sure were perfectly responsible at their homes are acting like it’s party time here.

On my FB I have a friend who's making pretty masks out of her bikini tops. I asked her to make me one out of the bottom.

It’s interesting that your little avatar mskes fun of the leafs for not winning since 1967.
And yet you have 0 shame and embarrassment over your franchise’s ENTIRE HISTORY OF LOSING!!!
Your 50 year anniversary is getting real close!!!
Let me congratulate you ahead of time!!!
Well done. - bruceflyers
Idiot. Everyone laughs at them but every village wants one.
Canucks have gone further into the playoffs than the Leafs ever have who never once made it out of the 3rd round in their entire history.

That's totally what's going on here. The truth of the matter is they don't care. Just like the kids in the US.

I don’t think locals were exactly locked down before the tourists started rolling in either. You didn’t see too many masks around. Put the two mindsets together and it could get bad here pretty quick. |

But the leafs HAVE won the cup, right?
Chrst...the ducks won the cup in their 14th season.
Flyers won it in their 7th.
Winning teams filled with winners just figure it out.
Losing teams filled with losers...don’t.
You can make fun of leaf fans all you want...
You can throw a parade down robson when you beat the horrible wild...but you know you’re going to add another year to your futility streak in short order.
The fancy word to describe it is that of a tautology...
That is to say...losers lose.
Losers lose.
It’s so simple.

It’s up to the businesses that don’t want to close again to make sure they don’t let their customers bully them into doing business in a way that isn’t sustainable. Example - restaurants who let two parties of 6 (the max size in BC) sit next to each other essentially making a party of 12. You have to be able to say no. I’m sure it’s the same for wineries, fishing guides, clothing stores etc. |
