Halfway through season 4 eh ? Ah, i'm jealous that you have so many great things coming and you're seeing it for the first time. Something awesome happens in season 5. One of the greatest scenes of all-time. - kritter65

We could all get behind that, but there is a 0% chance Tampa would take that return for Cirelli. |

My best guess as to what they would accept would be Cozens and the 8th overall. They take back minimal salary in that deal and could look like geniuses within 2 years of making that deal. |

Is Cizikas a legitimate upgrade over Larry, and is the pay he will seek commensurate with his abilities? - TheSabresTaco
He is a better producing Larry with about a 0.35 ppg average over last 3 years with 67% Dz-start and 49% CF averages over same period.
Larry's #'s are: 0.23 ppg, 71% Dz-start, 47.6%CF
Cizikas was earning $3.35m, while Larry was $1.55m
Between the 2, keep Larry...but I personally wouldn't go over $2m and prefer about $1.8m |

You're probably right. That said, I'd find it hard to believe they'd get a pick in this year's draft higher than 8th overall. Maybe not even top-10. |

I lied, upon further review Larry is much better at flipping the ice.

Then that's too much.
Cirelli is good. He may even be great. But I'm not giving them one of the top prospects outside the NHL and what very well might be another top end prospect for what will never be more than a number 2 center, in Cirelli, and I hope Adams wouldn't cave to that, either. |

I cringe a little at that so probably. Or the Borgen. Or the Johnson. Iโd like to keep Samuelson or at least one of our bigger d prospects. Again, they are prospects, Cerelli is a plug and play 2c. Iโd do any of the above.
Whatโs the worst case scenario.... you are too strong down the middle?!? With Jack, Cerelli, Cozens?!? ... to strong down the middle can never be a thing.

And Cozens might be the next Wheeler.
Think Boston wouldn't want him back?
And how about all these kids you, yourself, are drooling over at #8?

Larry has 50% CF this year while Cizikas had 39%. Mind you Cizikas did have 70% d-zone starts whereas Larsson had 62% roughly. |

IMO, we hope and perhaps believe Cozens is equal to Cirelli...his offensive numbers may not get there over the next 2 years largely because of how stacked Tampa is offensively compared to Sabres. I'd want to retain Cozens and adding Sam and 8th OA is ridiculous IMO. Therefore, I would not include Cozens in any deal for him. 8th OA and Mitts is about as far as I'd go. |

So you're good with trading the next Blake Wheeler, a perennial 20-25 goal scorer in Reinhart and the number 8?
Is that what you're saying?
You're fired. |
