I haven't read it yet, but holy poop the Blackhawks are $8M over the cap before re-signing Kubalik and Strome (assuming John's numbers are accurate)! They had three big contracts on LTIR.

they aren't taking sam. he will cost more than cirelli against the cap. they need cap relief, that's the whole point.

I'd do 8oa, a decent prospect and maybe a bit more with no cap influence. or just 8oa and a good prospect, pick your poison. at the most.

or just tear the whole damn thing down and get lean. I'm really not opposed at this point.

There's a strong chance Larsson doesn't want to be back with Buffalo. I think the Sabres would extend him if he'd be interested in coming back, and he'd be the only UFA they'd want to bring back.

He flips the ice in the other direction. Even if he gets 25-30 points I’d like to think Mojo and Kahun would still get there 40 points.

Eichel managed to get 78 points this year and Reinhart had 28 points less. Eichel did benefit from Reinhart though no ?

A "swing" at Puljujarvi isn't trading Mitts for him.
