Yeah but he's never done that. Your plan is to entice him to stay, which requires matching UFA prices - let's call it conservatively $3m on a 2 or 3 year deal - and expect at age 28, hes going to have a career year?

It's absolutely enough for a 3rd liner with no PP time

Not a bad list, think Strome or Dvorak would be a good fit. Hertl is a huge ? mark with the knee.

not to mention the pk experience him and olofsson gained in rochester which will make them more valuable moving forward in the nhl

He's taken ROR's defensive responsibilities and there has been 0 drop off (Defensively)

He's legitimately a top 20 defensive forward

Well Johan Larsson is our Tre White.

Larsson was the 2nd most important player to team success this season. He is a very good 3C (yes that’s not a typo) and the points will come if he isn’t playing with two of the worst offensive impact forwards in the entire league (Girgensons and Okposo).

Mojo-Larsson-Kahun would be a strong third line.

But J Crag’s main objection to Girgs & Larsson is that they don’t score enough
Yet he holds Grier up as the standard for a defensive forward
Except Grier doesn’t even meet the 15goals standard that J Crag is putting in the position
He had half that in the year he played with Drury
