Regardless of what Evan Rodrigues is, he isn't our problem anymore. Our problem is finding a second and third line center so the rest of the Larrys don't play 15 minutes a game again

It makes things so much easier when you aren't latched on to any players on this team except Jack , Dahlin and Cozens.

Besides those players, there isn't a player to die on a hill for and it makes things so much easier. Joker had a good year, so did OV and keepers unless they bring something better, Tage I'd like to see more of but besides that who cares.

Sure, agreed. If it came down to trading assets or paying 4+ mil for some random 3C that might eclipse 30 points, it’s really hard to argue that’s better value than retaining an elite defensive forward. But I’m with you that he’s 100% gone. And I’m 100% on board with never seeing 28 again.

Last two years? He was a -8 in 2018-2019, -30 the year before that and -41 for his career and I know you are going to say that +/- doesn't matter but it has with Risto for years with you so what is it does it matter or does it not? Maybe the conservative coaching and solid linemates helped Larsson out?

I still don’t see a better logical 3c unless you’re thrusting Cozens into a defensive center role or you’re trading for a defensive minded 2C. Or you’re starting Mittelstadt at 3C.

Again, who’s a logical 3C candidate that we aren’t wasting assets, for a short term stop gap to Cozens?

My Plan would be to
- Fix line 2 first and foremost. I posted about it around 9:00am this morning.
- Cozens there at 3C, if absolutely overwhelmed initially, then put Mojo there if he is still on the club as Plan B+. If not, Asplund as Plan C until Cozens can move back hopefully around TDL.
