The Sabres aren't going to play VO after he signs for 3 million + on their third line and after Jack just had some rapport, symmetry with him on his line and had his best season points-wise and overall as a more complete player. You don't develop top 6 players and bump them to the bottom 6...in my humble opinion

My hope would be they play MoJo at RW with Jack to boost his points, then move him at the deadline for as much as possible

if they wanna trim salary, MoJo seems like a guy who could be dealt before the season starts

Do u think they might look to move BOTH Montour & Risto for similar reasons

you can't do that though when in one breath the owner says build through the draft

and 12 months later says you better win now

then one year later, fire the gm, hire another gm and agree to build all three levels (echl, ahl, nhl)

then whack him when you tell him after a year you need to improve and win now, we got dahlin and change direction



you need a 3 and 5 year plan and stick to it

Aho is a wizard. He’s a top 10 Center in the NHL in my eyes. Carolina struck gold with him and Got blessed by the lotto gods with Svechnikov whose going to be this decades Ovi.
