I forgot all about Benn.
- boonerbuck
I think Benn will continue to be with his wife. He sounded sort of reluctant a few weeks ago. Family first. |

If hes healthy, we havent had a third line this good since 2011. - Codes1087
It would be better with JV and Ferland. Let Rousell anchor an abrasive energy line with Zacmac that can score. The way through the Wild is to play to Canuck offensive strengths and power on all 4 lines. |

I don't know who will cry but Jake is not getting a good review right now on the broadcast. He is odd man out again tonight and they are saying he has been just okay . Being outplayed but a lot of others. |

Who’s out there killing penalties? Beagle the only guy to consistently do it. Bo and JTM do it as well, but they can’t be asked to kill them all.
Motte and LE are good PKers — can see Jake sitting to start, especially in a best of 5 when he hasn’t looked great leading up to it. - NewYorkNuck
Bo and Pearson
Beagle and Roussell
4th line shutdown.

I think he'll be ready when the thingy starts.
Green will want his size and speed come playoffs. |

I really dont know what to expect from Ferland. So far he seemed to suffer from any kind of jarring motion. If he is durable, he should be a factor. I expect him to be a little hesitant in the physical department. I hope not.
Jake will be on the sidelines until someone is injured i suppose. - boonerbuck
He had to rewire his inner ear tube that gives balance etc from trauma... Imac wrote an article forgot the medical term. |

You mean cant see obviously. I agree. I was disappointed in his main camp months ago. Never thought he'd pull this going into the playoffs. I think he misses games out the gate but will ultimately be in the lineup if the Canucks qualify and there are some bumps and bruises..
If Motte is healthy and isnt lagging in camp, he makes my 4rth line any day. I love what he does and is a threat with limited 5 on 5 time and on the PK.
Roussel can PK iirc. Was good at it his first season in Van I think. |

Honestly the whole intermission was about how Ferland is winning it over Jake. Their final comment was they would not be surprised to see Jake as one of the three in the stands opening night.
We all want it for Jake , except Jake.

You know JV can't go full out and run a guy in these scrimmages. Bo gave him poop in a practice for that. He hits a lot and has the speed and power to get there.
If Ferland and ZacMac have shown they are good enough to make the opening line up that's a good thing. It takes out the Sutter and LE need. Motte has heart but he's not a big body and would be a saw off against a wild defensive line.
Greener is a poker player and he likes to hide his cards. JV will be launched to kick ass against opponents. |

I think he has 3 in 4 games now . Look out he will get an extension.
Wouldn't that knock your socks off?

6 mil a bargain. Told Nucker from the start!
- boonerbuck
Damn right.
He may actually make the starting line up .
Again second intermission is all about " We don't want to talk bad about Jake" and then followed by 5 minutes of talking bad about Jake. |

My guess on the bottom 6. PK is covered. Ferland might sneak in & JV looks like beaten out by better efforts in camp. Sutter back up C if injuries.
Idk if it’s try outs or just training camp but some players have earned notice.
Some will say over priced players in the bottom 6 but the depth can come in very handy if we are to make any kind of run. The longer the run the lower the 1st pick will be in the JTM trade. Crosses fingers. |
