Because he has no real hockey knowledge. It's obvious that he doesn't watch any games. He deflects, defends and insults.

Then he'll brag about himself. Ripping off what his hero Trump does. Only Trump is great at promoting himself. Whereas Jimmy is terrible at it. His insecurity shines through.
