It seems they have it covered.

Testing: Every person inside the NHL’s “bubble” will be tested for COVID-19 daily via nasal swab, also administered temperature checks and symptom screenings.

The list of people requiring daily testing is massive and includes but is not limited to: all players, staff, officials, arena ice crew, security, hotel bartenders, food service staff, arena food and beverage staff, hotel housekeeping, hotel kitchen and food prep staff, and bus drivers. Simply put, any person who has contact or may come into contact (even indirectly) will be tested daily.

With 24 teams inside the bubble (at 52 people per team), that is 1,248 tests required daily for team personnel only. Add in all of the other levels and it is easy to imagine the NHL requiring upwards of 2,000 tests daily to begin the 24-team tournament. That is 20,000 tests in first 10 days alone.

Massive.

Kulak with Petry is troublesome....it should be Mete with Petry.....Mete goes 3rd pairing if only Romanoff is on board which he isn't.

problematic...but Mete is a great rusher he just needs to finish...Petry allows him better rushes and is fast enough himself to get back himself and assist ....Mete is not developed fully yet he has so much potential..unless of course the Habs get lucky and can steal Krug..then Mete becomes a Kraken...maybe...

In a few years, the left side could be quite good with Romanov and Norlinder who are both looking to be on the right track.

Mete over Kulak for sure but that doesn't make Mete a legitimate top 4 defender, he skates extremely well that's his strength but he's rather average all around, hoping he develops and proves me wrong..... and I think Krug would be an obvious upgrade on the current D but it would turn into a cap nightmare if you're re-signing all of Petry, Tatar, Gallagher and Danault

There's lots of quality prospects but none that really stand out as true top end D prospects.... they will need to acquire some, hope that some of the ones they have grossly overachieve or go without an actual top pair which is not ideal... We should already be looking beyond the Weber/Petry years and as of now, it's looks catastrophic

D-Von, Bubba Ray, and Spike?

In all seriousness, how Romanov plays will be a huge factor. As long as Norlinder doesn't play in the bigs, he doesn't require protection, if memory serves. I'm going to assume both Petry and Weber are covered by NTCs, assuming Petry is still with us.

So if they go 7-3-1, and assuming we *don't* draft AL, I'm guessing for forwards: Suzuki, Gallagher, KK, Armia, Danault, Domi, Tatar. (Last 3 assuming they re-sign) Keeper if any above are traded/unsigned: Lehkonen/Player traded for.

D would be: Weber, Chiarot/Romanov, Petry (if Petry is still with us. If not, it'll be the 3 listed before. If Romanov doesn't play 40 games, he'll be replaced my Mete. If Romanov plays 40+, AND Petry re-signs, Chiarot will be left open.

Goalie: Gee, I wonder...

Romanov won't require protection

Petry will be a UFA that summer and if they really wanna keep him and he really wants to stay (I'm hoping he goes) they can wait until after the expansion draft to officially re-sign him

Weber does not have any clauses in his contract and they could easily roll the dice and leave him unprotected, not sure an expansion team wants to hitch their wagon to a 34 year old, often injured declining D making big bucks for quite some time

R.I.P. Eddie Shack. As a Hab's fan I hated him however his rivalry with Fergy was classic.
