Considering how many false positives and mistakes there have been I would be amazed that some if not all of the tests turned out to be wrong. Especially in a team from Florida where they were over blowing the positive test by orders of magnitude.

Does anyone know if the non-playing players and the non-coaching staff will be allowed to be in the rink for the games?

I am thinking how inspiring it would be for the Flyers to have Lindblom visible and say the other guys as well, all wearing Oskar strong sweaters.

Not sure, are you trying to confirm it for yourself?

If they’re in the bubble and in the locker rooms I’ve got to assume they’ll be able to watch the games. Was watching the Nationals game yesterday and the starting pitchers who weren’t playing that day were just hanging out in the stands.

Who we really need in the stands tho is Gritty.

Especially since the testing sight where it was done was so close to a 5G tower. Plus Fauci was in Philly the other week carrying around a briefcase full of vials like that dude from 12 Monkeys. Coincidence?

Oh definitely. MLB players aren’t in a bubble so I’m not really surprised it happened. NHL and NBA are set up far better imo.

Bubble is safer, but it still only takes the actions of one selfish idiot to compromise an entire team.

Luckily the current Flyers squad seems relatively mature.

God, imagine if this were the "Dry Island" era Flyers. Good luck with your bubble then lol.

I am just thinking, what a boost to have Oskar in the stands. I mean, that's gotta be close to have a cheering crowd egging you on (in a positive way, unfortunately not in the terms of the negative value on the opposing teams). I mean, anytime inspiration is flagging, just have someone mention Oscar.

Yes, I know, a little exploitative, a little cold, but also sort of old school.

What do you mean good luck? Did you see the fencing that is being erected? I guarantee there will be cameras and motion sensors on that fence.

I think we can definitely go on a run. It’s hard to say though because there has been so much downtime. I have faith in AV having the team ready to compete though.

I honestly think we have as good a chance as anyone which is something I haven’t felt about this team in a long time.

I think we should prepare for any player at anytime sitting due to Covid.

This might be a good time to face the fact that the breeder lied when he said he was giving you a dog.

Good point! The team really rallied behind Oskar and also the Kid seems to have such a positive energy! I also wonder if the Flyers win, it would enable his name to be, you know, I don’t even want to say it!

A lot of talking up Morgan Frost’s camp. Whether it’s deserved, I have no idea but I’m really hoping he’s a major factor in these Exhibition games.

We’re that much of a better team if the line up looks like this.

Giroux-Couturier-Voracek
Lindblom/Farabee-Hayes-Konecny
JvR-Frost-Pitlick
Laughton-Grant-NAK
Raffl/Thompson

Provorov-Niskanen
Sanheim-Myers
Hägg-Braun
Ghost

Hart
Elliott

I know this isn’t what I’m gonna get but I’m more confident with this team if all the kids are prepared to play and elevate their games.

If you have a Lindblom/Farabee line on L2, shouldn't you also have it on another line if both play? Obviously Oskar isn't playing quite yet, so there is no real need, but what happens when/if he is ready to go? Where do you want Farabee? Is he bumping Frost?

Anyone else who can’t sleep on all hockey eve...it’s game day! Let’s go Flyers!

I’ve got to watch some games to see what I think of the lines. A lot can change in a short time with young players, and it’s hard to predict who will be quickly back to the top of their game.

Pretty sure AV said Lindblom isn't a realistic option to play at least to start but, going forward, I like these lines.

He tried posting the same blog twice, and it's been removed both times. Guessing that, now that hockey's back, Eklund doesn't need his political hot takes to get traffic.
