Both tenders will play tonight. One last chance for MM to prove he's the starter? - Thorny87
I dont know that he had to prove that or not. Unless he's super bed sh!tty tonight, he was always gonna get the start. |

Judging by the media circus nonsense, Pittsburgh shouldn't even show up to the upcoming Montreal series. The Canadiens are the sleeper pick to go all the way to The Cup.
I'd love to have whatever these people are smoking. Absolutely ridiculous. |

Ive been saying all along I have a bad feeling about this series...
I dont think its as uneven as some around here think. Juilen's system is the kind Pens struggle against. They have 4 fast lines with people capable of burying pucks on each. They have a healthy Weber and Price is quite capable of shutting the door a lot for 3 to 5 games. Also, the Habs are notorious for really hot starts to seasons...and they're the underdogs. Players like being the underdogs. |

I'm not saying it is going to be a cakewalk, but the NHL commentators are talking like Montreal is this sleeping giant. I agree with you 100% that players can feed off of that "underdog" mentality, but to be pushing this narrative that they're going to get far is absurd to me. They wouldn't even be in the playoffs if not for this altered season. I just wish the experts would dial it down a bit. Maybe they will steal the series. Kudos to them if they do. But let's bring the expectations down to earth, please. |

Price is great at handling the puck too. If the Pens are gonna get stood up at the line and switch to dump ins it's not gonna be pretty. Unless they adapt and put it high and right to the corner. If memory serves they didn't do that in the previous games against the Habs this year. |

Hopefully someone pisses off Geno, Geno runs the goalie and it turns into a throwaway game from Rochester. - Grinder47
To be honest if someone decides to make this game physical, my bet is on Hornqvist or Tanev over someone from Philly. |

See I completely agree the Habs are better than their record. They've had lots of injuries and some good young talent that most people don't appreciate yet.
The problem is a lot of the people who know that don't realize you can say the same about the Pens. Plus they have deadline additions not subtractions. This line-up is a good bit stronger than any they've had all year. And after last year's embarrassment, they won't get caught looking past an opponent.
Pens should win, but it's sports and the best team doesn't always win. |

There's no chance Sully would tip his hand by only playing one tonight. He loves the mind games.
And yeah, that's besides you want both to get some action because the season was months ago. |

When the Pens pick up Marleau at the TDL.... I was meh... can't hurt. With fresh legs he might be a really nice complimentary piece.
Sheary with his typical blue line turnover. No surprise there. |

It sounds like very intense air conditioning. Are they trying to pump in crowd noise? I hope that’s not their attempt to do so. |

I was thinking like white noise meets a didgeridoo. It's awful and distracting. |
