I just watched highlights of 4 of the 6 games. Most of the goals were from in tight. Rask didn’t give up a lot of rebounds. Also little Timashov scored a nice one from outside the circle after stripping the puck from a large Bruin defenceman. He didn’t even bump him so I don’t know how it counted.

So, what is this surprising when an economic underclass bears the health and economic brunt of the pandemic? Millions off Americans losing their health insurance, 40% of all households at risk of evictions, there's no hope that any new relief package coming.

Of course opening top school will help but it's been summer anyway, so you can't attribute a a lot of those suicides to school.

The only way to deal with the economic, social and mental health problems is to get the pandemic under control. If opening up schools too soon or the wrong way makes that harder, bad idea.

Do it where you can, how you can.

Look at what happened when Israel opened their schools too soon. Covid numbers skyrocketed. You need transmission numbers low and you need to be flexible in how you do it - how many kids in a class, etc.
