What is your take on not having Pearson with Toffoli?

I still think we could benefit by putting Brock back on the lotto line and have Pearson and Toffoli with Horvat. Green seems dead set against trying this...

Thanks Cariol. I've been on the OJ to start train ever since I knew Benn was going to leave to go back to Dallas for the birth. It was obvious Benn would miss the start or whole series since he would have to do another 2 week isolation on return... right?

Brandon Sutter was absolutely brutal last night. Worst forward by far for both sides.

I believe the current protocol is a little looser. Something about isolating until you can deliver four negative tests or something? Not exactly sure, though.

Benn's fiancee's IG story is quiet today. She usually posts very regularly, so maybe it's finally baby time!

One of the things that struck me about the game was how Petterson really pushed the pace each shift he was on the ice. I think he was using this game to really ramp up and I am willing to bet he will be a monster against Minny. That line was very good at establishing control in the Jets end and working the puck around to open up chances. JT Miller looked good and Toffoli was ok. The PP was a bit unlucky but when they had control they were able to get the puck in position to score. Hellebuyck was very good got a piece of the Petey one- timer and was very quick, I don't see the same from Stalock or Dubnyk. I can't wait for this thingy to get going!!

I’d even go so far as to put Gaudette between Pearson and Toffoli and move Bo to third line centre with JV and Roussel on his wing.

Really that's interesting Carol. Over what period of time cause of the incubation factor. Benn never made to the bubble and now not keeping in Canadian semi bubble isolation from rink to home. Plus crossing the border as well sounds real laxed to me. I thought that 4 test rule would apply to the emergency goalie call up like Dipietro but they would have to stay in Canada phase 3 status.

lol yes Ben's been rough this season. I could have seen Green putting him in for toughness. Now that its between Fatty and OJ similar skill sets would go with talent over NHL experience on tweener Fatts.
