Not much to talk about these days. I’m sure if the Canucks turned it around and produced like they did in 2010/11 this place would be packed. They would all be here again. - bloatedmosquito
Don't be so sure. I've got over a half dozen PM's in the past few week by posters who are packing it in in this forum. We joke about the narratives and brainwashing/bullying and such but's it's a pretty big factor. Pretty soon it'll just be the ten minions lol

come on.
Most of the old school regulars left after the Canucks started to suck and the “hockey talk” on here became intolerable, empty, repetitive drivel. The team sucked for the last couple of years and the numbers dropped. The page count stayed high because of the posting habits of a few regulars.
I’ve said it before, Vantel and Minivan produced 60%+ of the posts. Most days they drove the conversation and sometimes the controversy.
Every summer on here gets a little crazy. Because of boredom we start getting a little destructive. It’s a cycle that’s been going on forever.

does this destroy the narrative?
or is it supporting the narrative? i can't remember whose narrative is the official narrative.
I am watching the Rangers vs. Carolina game and I am struck by a couple of things, first Justin Williams is just a playoff warrior. Second this is heavy hockey, they are hitting to hurt. This game has good intensity and pace. I am watching all of the games I can, the quality of hockey we are going to see will be off the charts.

watching too and noticed that as well. my first thought was "can they keep this up?" better start than i expected to be honest.
Last I heard from Vantel, he put two requests in to have his account closed. I see his avatar and user info are gone from his posts. Vantel drives conversation on this board. It's a big loss for Carol and Eklund.
I'm finding it more enjoyable to post Canucks interests elsewhere but I will support Carol through Twitter still. Several of this sites good people past and present can be found elsewhere.
People can blame the Canucks for why this board is bleeding long time users... so why are they as active as ever elsewhere?
