I’m still not convinced this game is over
We need to be sharp in the 3rd and play smart - SimpleJack
Roll the 4th line out there generously - they’ve been great so far in this game. |

Not just strong - good with positioning his body and stick to protect the puck.
When he learns how to get his shot off.... |

Well, what a game so far. Hawks look great. I will say this, if Kirby Dach keeps developing (and learns to just shoot the puck!) he's going to be an absolutely beast. Right now, his 3rd line could be a difference maker with matchups.
Hawks top line is straight fire, and wow a real power play for once! Still a long way to go in this series, but very promising. |

Is it possible the Hawks are in better shape than the Oilers |

He must have been doing deadlifts squats and drinking gallon gallons of milk during the lock down |

His reach and control of the puck is what I’m most impressed with. So many times an opposing player correctly plays the body on him but he’s still able to make a play with his reach. |

Do wonder how the time on ice leading up to this compares for the two teams. Our own pied piper, Patty Kane, had as many players as were allowed on the ice with him as soon as it opened up. And, JC ran the guys through some rough practices to get their conditioning up. |

Hawks play is impressive so far in game 1 in all 3 Zones. Heck the power play is actually contributing.I thought for sure that the Oiler's would be the the team administering the pain. We shall see where this goes but for now I'm a happy Hawks fan. |

Who scores the hat trick?
The captain or the rookie? |

Maybe that's one of the advantages of having one of the youngest teams in the playoffs

Really, Neal? Not that it changes anything, but pk needs to clean up. |

Easiest way - don’t take 4 penalties Monday night. |

On the other hand: only 34 SAT, 17 SOG for the Oilers 5x5. |

Very nice Blackhawks
I really liked the rotation of the defense 5 on 5, looked like a concentrated effort to always have a defender in front of the goalie. |

Not having fans there I think really helped the Hawks
I wonder if they would have been able to hang on as it got within 2 if that place was packed/having that momentum |

Carpenter would be better if he just kept it simple. Turns the puck over in the neutral zone trying to get cute. They were at their best with the puck in deep and going to work on their D-men. |

Can't be. He just stands around or so I read. |
