I love when Nashville loses. - scottak
I usually cheer on the underdog, but Nash losing is a wonderful sight. |

I know dark horse, but I've always pulled for Fortin to make it. Especially if Ted has said he's growing into a more complete player. More than Stalberg 2.0. |

Stalberg was 6'-3", had stone hands but didn't lose many battles. |

Release the Sikura. - EbonyRaptor
Five forwards to choose from are MacKenzie Entwistle, Brandon Hagel, Philipp Kurashev, John Quenneville and Dylan Sikura. Doubt we’ll see Kurashev or Entwistle, but Colliton’s unpredictable. |

Total BS. - rpeters01
Agreed. If you're going for the hit and a shorter player ducks a bit, how do you not hit him in the head? Short players off-limits? I would hope he wasn't targeting the head. The game moves too fast not to hit him in the head if he ducks down. What, you have to be a mind reader now before making a hit? |

Game#2 is a pivotal game. I'm thinking he goes with the guy with the most NHL experience and who may not be able to put the puck in the net in the NHL but plays responsible defense and won't do something stupid to hurt you.

Yeah most likely, outside chance Hagel gets the nod. |

Yeah, I remember. But I just looked at capfriendly, my guy's not even an option. I kinda want to see what Entwistle has in the tank. Maybe if he scores we can hear The Who. |

OR Hagel. Its okay. I like the chance to get another young player in there. Nothing against Caggs. I like him but he won't be here next season. |

If Caggs gets a game, what is Mathieson gonna get for his cheap shot on Boychuk? That hit was far worse.
I do think Caggs hit deserved something with the way the NHL is now. |

June 2020 – Hagel was honoured twice by the Rockford Icehogs, walking away (virtually) with the teams Rookie of the Year award and being named its MVP. This is the first time in team history both awards have been issued to the same player in the same year. The 2016 fifth-round pick continues to pad his resume. Look for him to make a huge push when the NHL returns. Tony Carr |

My guess is its between Hagel and Sikura. (frank) no to Quenneville. Tough spot for Kurashev or Entwistle to make their NHL debuts. |

Sikura is the smarter 200 foot player right now. Hagel gives you a little more edge. I am fine with either. |

Regardless of who dresses, the gameplan should be to double shift Kane on 2/3
And rotate Nylander/Sikura on LW...then spell Kane when he needs it
Sikura/Nylander- Strome - Kane
ADB - Dach - Kane (then rotate RWs here when Kane needs the break) |

SimpleJack. You can come in off the ledge regarding the White Sox. Madrigal with a 4 hit game. Cease looking good. Their bullpen is on fire and the starting pitching is starting to come around. This will be a fun season to watch. |

JC usually spots him in there to get him away from top pairs. Edm has to make a decision. Looked to me like he got a heavy dose of Klefbom and Larsson yesterday, I take my chances with either Toews' line or Kane's line against their other 4 D-men. |

Oh I kno, I was just being a whiny little female genitalia. 4 game winning streak we’re unstoppable, we’re freakishly talented at all positions and TA has probably permanently lost his leadoff role cuz that’s how insanely good Robert is. Eloy needs to move up to the 4 spot. When TA returns he and Madrigal should hit 8 and 9 respectively to create what would essentially be another leadoff/2 hole that can get on base for Robert when the lineup gets back to the top of the order.
Robert
Moncada
Abreu
Eloy
Grandal
Encarnacion/McCaan/Vaughn
Mazara
Anderson
Madrigal
That’s us when fully healthy. Only teams in all of baseball that can match that are Yankees/Astros/Dodgers/Twins...and maybe the Braves.
But yes the real key is the improved starting pitching and the very solid bullpen. If the pitching stays this way we can legitimately contend as early as this season(if it doesn’t get canceled).
Now just wait for the next 2 game losing streak I’ll be right back on that ledge ready to jump with outlandish takes and relentless female doging. Stay tuned for more. |
