Kooly has a great sense of humour and alot of hockey knowledge. We go after Jimmy Tan Tan quite a bit. Right now Jimmy is trying to get me permabanned. He's claiming that I'm a white supremacist even though I never talk politics.

the fact that he's trying to get you permabanned only shows that he can't win with you and that he's frustrated. i mean, they could just try not lying in their blogs? why don't they just try that?

That's the thing about Jimmy. He literally can't debate anything about hockey. Anytime you call him on his BS he rolls with the personal attacks. I don't even think he watches the games. Natural fish sticks dot com and Jfresh cards don't cut it for me. I need to actually watch the games to have a hockey opinion.

He's always trying to shock with his claims, trying to go off the board and looks for praise for thinking outside the box, even though what he originally said was more stupid than innovative thinking but still wants recognition for thinking of it and suggesting it... if that makes any sense?

Thin skinned Jimmy is easily triggered. It doesn't take much to get his balloon to pop.

Jimmy likes being different for the sake of being different. But he lacks the the hockey knowledge to back up his ridiculous claims. Opinions aren't facts. He never proves anything.

Agreed. Drysdale for me. But there's so many good players in the top 10. I trust Yzerman to make the right pick.

I believe in building from the net out. That's why I wouldn't be upset if Yzerman drafted Askarov. I'd love to build a defense around Hronek, Seider and Drysdale though. Even Red Wings fans have no idea who Yzerman will draft. He's not a blabber mouth like Holland was.

I don't think he'll take Askarov at 4

I'm not a big fan of taking goalies that high

Yeah, that is one of the things I like about Yzerman - he is not about the publicity or making it about himself. He is very quiet, gets the job done, and usually no one knows what is gonna happen until it is done.

Yeah me neither. It's just that I've been cheering for the Red Wings for 40 years now and I've never seen them draft a stud franchise goalie like a Carey Price. I don't consider Chris Osgood to be in this category like some Red Wings fans do. Holland drafted Givani Smith one pick before the Flyers took Carter Hart. That really pi$$ed me off.

I love it. It's refreshing. Holland would always use his press dummies to justify his crap moves. He'd also use them to tell Red Wings fans what to think. It mostly worked because most Red Wings fans can't think for themselves.

I'd take Sanderson at 9 over Lundell, it's hard to say, obviously depends on who's available but Sanderson would definitely fill a need, I wouldn't be disappointed if they grabbed him in the 9-12 slot

In a way but with the Habs current situation, they need a guy with top 4 potential more than another F, unless that F has superstar potential obviously

The 2nd round is also loaded with projected D, Habs own 3 picks... hoping they scoop up a few
