Don't have one.

I have a fan, so that's something, but it's still just blowing air.

And well, sometimes I have to go outside for groceries, papers, etc...

Meh, my region we've had a few 30-34 + humidex days...rather similar to Canada I'd say. Of course it's much cooler in the mountains but that's not where I am at all

Not much, really. Burning frequently because no AC, and there was a leak upstairs that isn't really good, the landlord is coming in 45 minutes to check it.

There's that key word again.

I think we agree, Pat. What I'm saying is you think he did something wrong because of your own ethics, but he doesn't feel the same because of his job and knowing that there would not have been any consequences. If it were truly unacceptable what he did, he would no longer have a job.

Meh, to me your opening the door to a whole ot of :

"In my mind, in my book, in my ethics (or set of value) its ok "

With no central set of rules, its the neverending story

We've had a few, but now we're entering the rainy season I think, that tends to cool it off a bit.

Plus next weekend I'll be visiting two mines that are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and they are usually around 10 C

It's the worst...water management in flatland conditions

https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1539/

It represents a masterpiece of mid-sixteenth to late-nineteenth century underground hydraulic engineering, its vast underground system representing the peak of European skills in such dewatering technology at a time when mining engineering provided the technical wherewithal for the development of the world’s first large-scale public water supply systems based on the steam-powered pumping of groundwater.

Based on RDS's article, he's going to play in Finland until the beginning of the NHL/AHL season...I'm guessing they think/know the AHL might restart at the same time as the NHL which we already know will be delayed, and there's no harm in having him play for a few months in the mean time.

Krzemionki Prehistoric Striped Flint Mining Region
Located in the mountain region of Świętokrzyskie, Krzemionki is an ensemble of four mining sites, dating from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age (about 3900 to 1600 BCE), dedicated to the extraction and processing of striped flint, which was mainly used for axe-making. With its underground mining structures, flint workshops and some 4,000 shafts and pits, the property features one of the most comprehensive prehistoric underground flint extraction and processing systems identified to date. The property provides information about life and work in prehistoric settlements and bears witness to an extinct cultural tradition. It is an exceptional testimony of the importance of the prehistoric period and of flint mining for tool production in human history.

What I've seen says that the AHL would probably restart either in December or January, so if the Euro leagues start in October as planned players could get 1.5-3 months of hockey.
