Thanks for the write up Jan.
I think Quinn we be shuffling the lines now for as long as they're still playing. Just my feeling.
Of note, we got evacuated out of Hatteras and are now in north OBX, so I'm getting real tired of losing to Hurricanes. |

Game 1 sucked. Really curious how they respond. They play anything close to that in game 2 this series will be over in 3 games. Really need Panarin to find his game fast

Looks kratsov at practice and no fast. Igor there as well |

F’ing Skjei. If he made hits like that these past few years he’d either still be here or would have netted us more. I can understand why Quickie was surprised.
I’m not on board with the assessment of Hank’s play. While it’s hard to completely fault him on the goals, other than possibly the one on the very first shot of the game, to my eye he is guessing a lot more and reacting a lot less. Also, his inability to get the puck to someone in the same color sweater hurts us, especially against this team.
Lots of rust out there, for sure, and most noticeable in our best players. |

The Rangers seem to be able to bounce back under Quinn. They never get blown out and they always seem to find a way to give themselves a chance .
Kreider better get his energy up. He will quickly become a punching bag by fans if he doesn'take an impact, especially after his contract.
Panarin, I hope, will bounce back.
BIG opportunity for Kravstov!! |

Skjei was always a hitting defenseman ---- he led the Rangers in hits at least one season. Typically his hits were against the boards and not open ice --- Fast has to keep his head up because it was a totally clean shot.
Panarin gets engaged and seems to have lost his game. Coincidence? I hope not! |

Hank played good yesterday but the one thing Rangers are really missing with Igor is his puck handling ability. I think its part of the reason the team plays so well in front of him. He is really good at starting the breakout. Could help to limit the Canes forcheck a bit
Even though Hank doesn't deserved to get benched based on his play, if Igor is healthy he needs to play |

Yup, Shesty really helps with the breakout. Like with any good luck handling goalie, he makes the opposition really think about dumping it in and makes them hold onto the luck too long at times, forcing turnovers |

Fixed, thanks. Could have sworn at one point, I saw 12, 4 and 8 for first three games, but clearly mistaken. Apologies for screw up. |

Hits were never the issue. Hits taking him out of the right positioning, that was the issue. |

Yea it has to be a good sign he practiced today. If he was still unfit I think they would have held him out |

Hank had nothing to do with the loss. The Rangers offense (frank)ing sucked, especially the top 2 lines. Carolina out played the Rangers in every facet of the game. The end |

That’s not so. I just learned on Facebook that all we have to do is not start Hank ever again! If word of this gets through to Quinn, the Cup is ours!!! |

I'm the first to say that I hope Hank retires next year, but this irrational hate towards Hank, a guy who carried this organization for years is mind boggling. - mdw7413
Despite slowing a bit Hank is still playing well. Still think if Shesty is healthy he gets the start, he is a much better puck mover than Hank ever was and it's like watching Hank when he first came into the league. Imagine where they would have been if Weekes never got injured? |
