Meh, Garth is watching Pee Wee Islanders skating at Northwell today Ses, if management made that call he would have gotten a pass. Mismanaging the franchises Biggest asset basically wrote his future.
He told management JT was signing with the team and when it was clear there was an issue and that wasn’t true he was fired and Lou was brought on to try and save the poopstorm.

I’m just making the point that it’s unfortunate he didn’t stay. Could have that player we’re missing. And now he’s playing for the hapless, emotionless leafs.

He literally said he didn’t want another team (the Leafs) to waste assets on him. Sure I was pissed the guy left and lied on his way out but that was the clincher for me. I wish nothing but the worst for the guy after that comment which more or less told the world yeah I (frank)ed you on the way out and knew I was leaving. At this point I can give a crap about the guy but it’s always funny when they can’t get out of the first round or in this situation get to the first round. Hopefully they get swept and their arrogant fans get the abuse they deserve for telling the hockey world this season was theirs again. They’ll never learn.

I thought our top line played very well in the first game. Especially since they were out there against Florida's top line a lot of those shifts and it was spent mainly on Florida's end.

I know what JT said in public before the deadline. Captain Jack has seen a JT quote I've never heard about what he said after. JT saying he lied to the Isles when he said he was re-signing just so he could foil a trade to a contending team and 'save them assest' is a new one.
