These comments doesn't compare well with the game I watched, except for the lack of fighting spirit. Torts would never allow his team to shy away from physicality like the Leafs did last night. Fix this and the series is gonna be 3-1 Leafs...!

Nylander doesn't play physical.
Matthews is afraid to get a concussion or another shoulder injury.
Ceci sucks.
Barrie sucks.
Kerfoot is meh.
Robertson needs another year before he's ready for playoffs.
4th line didn't get any ice-time, so can't blame these guys.
Muzzin was bad yesterday, but he can play physical.

Not sure this team is really ready to go all in and fight for it in playoffs. Too much Harlem Globetrotters and less playoff hockey mentality.

There was one play first half of 1st period which exactly shows why Nylander is such a liability if you want to win a SC - I'll look it up on nhl.com around what time it was.. it was horrible how he was caught puck-watching giving his man 15 feet to make a play (almost goal).

If Leafs do end up losing the series... and end up winning the lottery... the playoff loss will be the best thing ever happened to them except Matthews lottery. Kyle can then do something about his mistake and trade Marner for defense.

I just don’t see this group winning it all. Marner can’t play when defense is tight. He only looks like wizard when there are lots of space.

They also deserve more than 1 game to be declared ready for the lottery.....

Series aren't won with 1 game. If they were, the Leafs would have 8 series wins in the past 3 playoff matches.

Overall(not looking at one play like you just did) he was one of the better Leaf forwards. That isn't saying much though.

3:53 time on ice for Spezza is almost insulting by the way - (frank)ing waste to even dress him - Robertson got 12mins; surely Spezza cannot be happy about that).
I'm not even a big Spezza fan, but if you have him on your team as a vet providing some playoff experience, you don't play him 4mins in a playoffs game, in particular when game isn't going well for the team.

they quit in the 3rd. 3rd period from last night seemed a little too familiar.

canes proved you can beat the leafs with a zamboni driver in net by imposing your will on them. looks like torts followed the same game plan.

leafs are far too predicable. jackets were able to pressure almost every puck carrier instantly.

Really? We are going there? While Marner was putting up impressive stats in the playoffs last 2 years Kadri was on the sidelines suspended.

Marner is an elite player that can get 100+ points yearly and still very young. There's a reason teams never move palyers like that.
