Hits are useless if you aren't getting the puck.

They don't contribute to winning puck battles most of the time.

Same thing with the Islanders against the Canes last year. Islanders could not generate anything. I think the Rangers already scored more then the Isles did the entire series.

The Canes can make you look like this. It's almost like playing the old Devils teams. Islanders looked great against the Pens and it all fell apart against the Canes.

In fairness, Panarin was a no show last game, Zibanejad is a no show this game.

With Tony D hurting the Rangers D doesn't have anyone who can skate with the Canes. Fox looks shell-shocked right now. Svech has been knocking him around all game.

Rangers will be stronger next season, just asking too much from some of these guys.

It’s hard to have confidence as a team. It’s a big factor. The rise in the standings came about because of Shesty and he gave them the confidence they needed. They literally make a mistake and it’s in the net right now lol

I’m not trying to pick on Hank, he’s just done as an NHL goalie. It’s time to hang them up, he did all he could for the org. He deserves his number retired as soon as next season (assuming they have fans lol)
