Jamie oleksiak scored for Dallas... A competent D man I wish we would have kept... No Flower for Vegas... Seems strange... Game time moved to 820...

Vegas is getting Flower and Lehner two starts a piece

The top two lines are buzzing. If the third can bring it, this won’t be close.

Tomas Holmstrom played until he was 38, and was an effective player until he was 37

Why does RW think Hornqvist can't be the same guy?

It's not a case of "can't be." It's a case of "isn't." It's evident if you watch him. He's still a legit NHL player, just not what he once was.

Because he plays a brand of hockey RW doesn't respect.

Refs seem to be calling far more than usual from everything I've been seeing in different games.

RW has never liked Hornqvist even in his prime. He's a dump and chase player and even though he used to win most of them that's just frowned upon by some people.

He used to drive play and he doesn't anymore so that is a change, but he hasn't lost anything as a net front guy.

Yep. 32 points in 52 games this season is pretty good production in addition to everything else he does.

He’s in late stage Tomas Vanek territory of scoring at a good to really good clip but not doing anything productive when he’s not scoring. As long as he’s producing like a first liner I won’t complain and say he’s more than earning his ice time, but if the scoring ever dries up he will legit be bad.

Did you just compare blood-and-guts anything-to-win Horny to I'll-only-put-forth-an-effort-if-I-can-pad-my-stats Vanek?

It's funny 'cause they don't win those two cups without him or his style of play. People forget how "perimeter" the Bylsma Pens were.
