It was well acknowledged by media that marner and jt need to be better.
Keefe has said since the last few days of camp that he thinks willie can provide more but hasnt.

I just don't see the need to go down that road. Try to sign a defenseman like Hamonic, trade Johnsson for a young dman... Like Conor Timmins. You've got some good well balanced pairings at that point. The dermott, Sandin, Liljegren, Timmins types would only improve it from there.

Find an LTIR contract to ease the cap strain....
