Listening to her and trying to sing like her while dressed up as her and playing with carrots.

The entire team did not generate a single shot on net in the final 6 or so minutes of a one-goal playoff game.
Nobody gets a passing grade. - Atomic Wedgie
Thank you.
This cannot be said enough. There is ZERO excuse for this. I have never even heard of such a thing.

DiPietro still gets paid $1.5 mil a year for the next 9 years! - gergeswillems
I never understood why they didn't LTIR him.
He easily could have injured his back stepping onto the dock of Robidas Island. |

I think there are some pretty damn good examples of why you don’t give any goalie a long term commitment at that money.
It’s a pretty huge risk and so far it looks horrible for the Panthers. - Santo_44
Its one year.
He could easily turn it around and be great for several years. But Bob has screwed his team out of a playoffs spot.
And if he doesn't turn it around, then great. |

I was about to wander down to Nathan Philips Square on my lunch to check it out, and then I got a call that my daughter had puked.
Turned out well for me, I guess, although I suspect nobody in the office believed me. |

I agree.. Outside of Andersen and Matthews, no one played particularly well..
Matthews was up against Jones-Werenski and the Dubois line..
Tavares and Marner should have lit up CBJ but they couldn't or didn't.. New game this afternoon..
Lets get it done. |

Lowry and siakim may be pushing superstar status.
Also, their record was better this year without kawhi.
A consistent hard working team that has bought into a system.
Kinda rhe opposite of the leafs. |

yeah I saw that. I mentioned it after the game.
Amazing how the people that think everything is fine can't seem to see how damning that is.
Even if you have the worst blue and white goggles and could not see the HUGE difference in effort between the two teams, that stat alone should have caused some tough questions to be asked.
And their hero, was on the ice for about 4 of those 6 minutes.

Matthews is paid like one of the top-5 forwards in the league and is supposed to be a generational talent.
His line was hemmed in its own zone half the night by PLD's line.
Yeah, the defensemen are good, but isn't he supposed to be good also?
Like Wedgie said, nobody gets a passing grade in that game. The closest player would be Ander5en and he made the biggest mistake of the game.

Kawhi's arthritic knees may not hold up much longer for the Clippers. Meanwhile, the Raptors can fly under the radar while the media babbles about how unbeatable the Lakers are.
The Raps literally own the Lakers head to head but no one ever mentions it. Raps can be the underdog. I'm fine with that. |

Hell ya.
The American media can overlook them all they want.
Its more enjoyable when the raps rub their faces in it. |

This still makes me chuckle:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect - Atomic Wedgie
We heard about something somewhat similar when we spent a week in Beaufort South Carolina. Streisand was there for filming of Prince of Tides. (They also filmed the Big Chill there. My wife always wanted that house, on the tidal river in this gorgeous town. It was on the market for about 4 years.)
Anyway, the guy who wrote the novel, Pat Conroy was a local. The town loved Nick Nolte and hated her. She drove everybody crazy. She even insisted that the Marine base nearby alter the flight pattern for their jets because she didn’t like the sound. She finally pushed everybody including the base commander too far when she acted like an ass at some event where Bill and Hilary showed up. On her last day in town, at dawn, the base commander sent 5 jets screaming over her house just above treetop altitude. |
