Agreed. JV earned his time in the press box. Kid needs a sense of urgency. If he can't come out firing on all cylinders then he's a lost cause.

Does anyone think its just as simple as JV is a meathead? Im pretty sure the picture on instagram in the club when the team is suppose to be setting an example and getting ready to go play hockey again just pissed Green off. Willing to bet its that simple JV is a me guy not a we guy

I wasn't paying attention to the official that was making the call, but I doubt it was a linesman with his arm up in the air to call a delayed penalty.

No, it was a ref. But, if I remember correctly, it was a scrambled play and Markstrom might not have known who the penalty was against because at first the Canucks didn’t have possession. On the reply you can see multiple players come over the bench before anyone has gone off. There might have been 9 skaters on the ice at the same time.

I mean, I didn’t think he was “great”, but he’s down the list of skaters that need to up their game to me. I would be shocked if he is out for game 2. If anything I could see Green doubling down on experience and getting LE in at the expense of Gaudette.

Meh. Looking at the picture, it’s hard to extrapolate. The guy says since LE is in blue, it means he’s in. But, so is Zac. And Motte, Ferland, Sutter, Beagle, Gaudette are all in white. So unless they’re ALL switching over, I wouldn’t read too much into it.
