Agreed. JV earned his time in the press box. Kid needs a sense of urgency. If he can't come out firing on all cylinders then he's a lost cause. - golfingsince
Does anyone think its just as simple as JV is a meathead? Im pretty sure the picture on instagram in the club when the team is suppose to be setting an example and getting ready to go play hockey again just pissed Green off. Willing to bet its that simple JV is a me guy not a we guy |

He, like the Wild player that was forechecking and went to tag up, thought it was a delayed offside. - NewYorkNuck
When was the last time a zebra with an orange arm band called an off side? |

I wasn't paying attention to the official that was making the call, but I doubt it was a linesman with his arm up in the air to call a delayed penalty. - Reubenkincade
No, it was a ref. But, if I remember correctly, it was a scrambled play and Markstrom might not have known who the penalty was against because at first the Canucks didn’t have possession. On the reply you can see multiple players come over the bench before anyone has gone off. There might have been 9 skaters on the ice at the same time. |

Thx Carol. Some of you aren’t paying attention. Sutter played well as did Myers. Worst player was clearly Gaudette. - CanuckDon
Sutter did have a great game. I liked Myer physicality, but the guy turns the puck over waaaay too much for my liking. Motte also played very well. |

Like you said, there was just a lot of confusion with the play. Can’t blame Marky for staying in his net to figure it out — which was the original assertion. |

He wasn’t on the ice for either PP goal, he won the face off he took, played 10 minutes. A solid 4th line performance? |

A great game by his/4th line standards. Had a couple scoring chances. Didn’t the Canucks forwards only have like 9 shots in total? The rest came from the D. |

I mean, I didn’t think he was “great”, but he’s down the list of skaters that need to up their game to me. I would be shocked if he is out for game 2. If anything I could see Green doubling down on experience and getting LE in at the expense of Gaudette. |

Canuck twitter news.
Sounds like LE “in”, Virtanen and MacEwen “options” on the wing for lines 3/4.
Wonder if one of the wingers is a bit banged up? - 1970vintage
Something needs to be done, very lackluster effort by the whole team, I expected more from the veterans that have been to the show. |

Top 6? - golfingsince
Meh. Looking at the picture, it’s hard to extrapolate. The guy says since LE is in blue, it means he’s in. But, so is Zac. And Motte, Ferland, Sutter, Beagle, Gaudette are all in white. So unless they’re ALL switching over, I wouldn’t read too much into it. |

As a coach why not play games with jersey colours to keep everyone off guard? I like it. |

Just the messenger.
It was originally posted by the Canucks official twitter feed and then they took it down. I believe the link I posted was Patrick Johnson who is a pretty reliable journalist. |
