Canuck twitter news.

Sounds like LE “in”, Virtanen and MacEwen “options” on the wing for lines 3/4.

Wonder if one of the wingers is a bit banged up?

Nucks 5-3. The game will start to open up tonight.

They need some PPs all the other teams are getting them and winning that way. Very little 5v5 scoring unless there is some error turnover in the D zone by the games observed.

The offensive teams need more games to get timing back to overcome D systems. So Canucks tonight must win and need PP to do it.

I agree that it will make things easier if the team gets more pp-time.

I don't think there is any grand conspiracy against the team by the refs. The Canucks just need to skate harder and play "faster." If they do that, the pp opportunities will follow.

Look at how the Leafs have come out today, they're getting their PP's.

It hasn't helped much yet but they're dominating the game.

Usually, making an effort should draw penalties. I look forward to seeing what changes both coaching staff and players make for this game.

Canucks definitely need to get their feet moving, but it also seems like they were “letting them play” last game.... saw a couple charges amidst all the extra interference. But, as long as they’re consistent, can’t complain too much

Zero issues with the officiating last game. The only critism was the lack of preparation and effort from the Canucks.

Yeah it was a combination of that ref crew's lack of whistles and not enough of Players using speed, or getting to the inside, to draw penalties; that had them on short side of the PP. That doesn't change tonight they are toast.

King of Myth your narrative game is way too simple.... can't handle realistic balanced takes eh.... waits for the PM's to go out... its okay I'm done messing around.

Yes. I don’t take credit away from Minny. I expect a different game tonight.

Are you going to answer the question?

They didn't look ready for playoff hockey to me. Just my observation.

Not sure that's lack of prep or lack of experience.

really got a summer scrimmage vibe from the game. the poop ice didnt help but there was definitely an intensity lag when a puck bounced, a pass missed its target, or they got bumped. i really hope they get their feet moving and fight to get into the middle of the ice because it was painful to watch

Minny played their game well. Playing against their system isn’t easy & only looks like the Canucks weren’t ready. 1 whiff by Marky or it was a different game. Too many men penalty killed a PP chance. It was that close to going either way. Anybody here knew this wasn’t an easy series. We started well.

They learned it needs to be taken to a higher level or 2. The vets weren’t impressive. It’s a war out there & gotta want it more.

It was covered in the last blog comments. I'm looking forward to seeing what changes are made for tonight. Changes in preparation, changes in effort, changes on the lines and a change in focus. The last game was really close even though they lost 3-0.
