minnys defense >>>> vancouvers. so yea theres a bit of credit due there but canucks didnt make it hard on stalock or the wild defense. they are capable of much better so it was disappointing they came out flat

My take is Minny forces teams into their game. They are good at it.

Solutions...

Do everything at high speed to draw penalties. Bang their D into submission on dump ins. They clog the middle so make them wear it in the O zone more. No stupid or lazy penalties. Stops our flow & keeps our scoring on the bench. All shots buzz Stalocks ears or stick side. On the PP Hughes high & 4 F’s no 2nd point man.

Don’t presume these lines are written in stone. I didn’t see the need for Beagle & Gaudette had no impact. It’s a short series & down 1 game & time to go for it with these lines. If TG sees it another way which he will It’ll be 1 F in & 1 out. OJ could slot in also.
