If our speed & skill isn’t getting it done we are in trouble.
I’m all about duos with the 3rd wheel. The 4th line is energy & banging & PKers. I prefer 3 scoring lines against a team like Minny too create more offense. Don’t need 2 defensive lines if the trios are set up properly. Also more O from D Fatty out OJ in. Stecher works hard but it ends there. Rafferty should get in the line up at some point.

Murph just said he thinks Gauds is out and JV is in. Also quoted Green saying it doesn't matter what he does to the bottom 6 if the top 6 doesn't move the needle.
Not exactly kicking the garbage can, but a nice step sending a message through the media. - Load Management

Nice that Green sees the need.
Yes the top 6 gotta produce no doubt but the bottom six didn’t have much of a threat although they did play better.

Not a fan of both Sutter & Beagle at C. - Nighthawk
You'd have to be blind to miss the egg the top 6 laid. I really don't think Sutter played that badly last game. But he at least has some offence on Beags.

The top 6 puck possession sucked.
Yes Sutter does but having both at C sucks.
When Markstrom is the reason we lose I’m sure most of us will come out and say it. Blaming a goalie on a loss when your team gets shutout is laughable. - golfingsince
Marky was part of it not to lay sole blame which is comical that you keep harping on that. But ignoring facts just to stick to narratives is a farce. By going down by 1 early on a stoppable point shot played to the Wild shut down script. The Canucks then needed PP's to score didn't get them. That's the facts. Spin all you want but as said plenty of times things could have broken different.
So here's hoping Marky is sharp early and the Canucks come out hard and get some PP time to get the 1st goal.

It will take 4 lines of offensive threats to beat the smothering D of the Wild. Got to push on all 4 lines and draw penalties too. Of course it starts with the top down.

I really think one line of scoring, some PP opportunities is all we need.
This is the Wild, not the fricking CCCP.

Relax, it's an open thread. Name one on the web that isn't there for the narrative. You are actually defending yours right now. How's that for a spin?
