A whole bunch of "almost" in their passes on the pp. - RealityChecker
A small air of arrogance on their PP? JTM still seems to be bobbling all his passes |

It wouldn't be a bad idea to go longer range shots. Point shots and EP from high slot.
They seem to be trying several passes and going low. |

Not seeing that at all - Wild are aggressive as fawk, they would give any team a hard time. |

Minny's just very good at pressuring. They need to move the puck so much quicker – both on shots and on passes.
Vancouver's PP1 is a lot of passing to get movement for a great shot. But it gets stagnant quick. Need more of a shot and rebound mentality right now to keep Minny from pressing so much. |

It's never a bad idea to shoot in hockey, or put the puck at the net. We also need guys to get to the front of the net. |

Arrogance in that there's no immediacy in their passing and movement. Just thinking they'll be able to pass it in, set up, and go from there.

I agree but Minny clogs the middle & shooting lanes quickly. |

On the PP let it rip & let them wear it. First off a clean pass would help a ton. |

Sure I agree with that. They have been able to move it around right up to the pass that leads to the shot.
Like you said they need more of a shot and rebound mentality. |

No intent but Brock over handles the puck too often. The game is too fast & less time out there. Rip it it or pass fast. |

So quick release shots, get it at the net with a screen if they're set in the zone. The odds of (frank)ing up a pass before you get the quality chance is high, unless it's on a transition play. |

My PP set up is simple...
2 on the 1/2 boards Petey & Miller
Brock high slot
Bo down low
Hughes the only point man
Miller & Brock can cycle out
Petey floats into openings.
Bo crashes rebounds & net front when point shots. |

Yup execution & Making their passes right at the line is the problem. But if you look around the league (especially now with the amount of games) you'll see most PPs/teams are doing the same thing, drop pass and hit the neutral zone with speed. No ones doing anything different or groundbreaking. PPs are predictable as hell. Watched Vegas & Caps games yesterday - both were horrific |
