Love what Ferland brings, Zac would be a good fill in for that. Move JV to 3rd line and out Zac on the 4th?

JTM Petey Brock
Pearson Bo Lui
Rous Sutter JV
Motte Beags Zac

Put Virtanen on the 2nd line .
Zac on the 3rd.
Loui on the 4th.

That 2nd line is awful.

I concur — but that’s what they won with last night, so can’t see Green changing it up.

You know very well they're gonna get him - 1st thing I thought of when they lost today.
- Brooks_Light

As long as he goes to the east, there's not a lot that would bother me. If he wound up in PIT or TOR I'd be unhappy though.

Interesting to note:

The Wild, meanwhile, have no goals at 5-on-5 across the first two games of the series.

Canucks D doing a pretty good job with that.

The counter argument to that is special teams can make or break a series (like it did for the Canucks in 2010). If the Wild are only scoring on the PP (or PK like last night) it would be prudent for the Canucks to limit the Wilds opportunities.

Unfortunately, the Canucks are second in playoff penalty minutes taken at 41. NYR were first with 49 minutes and they are already eliminated.

Canucks better smarten up if they want to advance.

Do you know of good camping spots near Digby? Just tenting it.

Have you been to Brier Island?

https://offtracktravel.ca...brier-island-nova-scotia/

Beautiful but very rough. Lots of hiking and whale watching. Not for everyone, but many people don’t think of it so good spot to get away from the tourists... well it was when I lived in NS.

Special teams can definitely make or break the series, but that’s normally based around 5 on 5 being a wash. Minny ain’t doing that yet.

Penalties are a big problem for the Canucks for sure, but didn’t Rous get a misconduct the first game at the end? Think that adds to the minutes you posted. Turnovers at the blue line and defensive breakdowns are their self inflicted penalty wounds.

Our first unit power play really needs to wake up, as they can more easily close out the series if they’re able to put up 2-3 a game on 7 chances.

Nice, i'll add it to the list. Probably wait a year or two when the youngest is a little older.

The key to winning against the WILD is, as predicted in last game, scoring first. Then they can't go into their preferred lock it down defensive shell.

Yeah it would be great to score more on the PP chances Canucks got. Though getting PP's while in the lead and keeping the flow of offensive pressure going is beneficial as well. Game management and improving offensive timing all adds up.

Yeah, after I posted I thought about your youngest. It’s a bit rough for young kids. Might be a bit boring too.

What about the Fort Ann/Annapolis Royal area? You could also do the Oaklawn Farm Zoo if you are ok with the concept of zoos. My kids love that place. Every time we go back to NS the kids harp on us to go.

I’m not sure about family friendly tent sites specifically. Check out trip advisor, I find they are pretty accurate when it comes to camping sites. If possible find something on the shoreline. The views on that coast are beautiful.

Myers with his back to back penalties last night drove me crazy. If you’re going to take a penalty then make the opponent feel it.

So we're tied in the series and haven't seen Markstrom's best yet, that counts for something.

No problem. I did most of my camping as a drunk twenty something so not much help now that we are family men.

But a word of warning if you’ve never done the Fundy coast of NS; it can get really buggy at low tide. Horse flies during the day and black flies in the evenings. The exposed shoreline at low tide seems to rile them up. It can get unbearable at times.

When are you thinking of going?

Next week.

I imagine the insect situation is similar to the NB side of Fundy? I hate horseflies, probably bring a gun.

so true.

Probably the same. If there’s a strong breeze then all is good. If it’s dead calm then all hell breaks loose.
