Yup. Last gasp for them to win a cup, but (frank)ed them big time.
TJ wanted him bad. |

TJ wanted early Karlsson, I don't think he realized how much his game declined with the injuries |

speaking of expensive right handed defenseman, Trouba looked terrific last night, that was a bright spot |

Would be nice to find him a legit partner. He can't into next year playing with Smith |

Is Miller a Right handed D man? If he is left that would be perfect.
I listened to the Blueshirts Breakway podcast last week when they had Rick Carpienello on. He made it seem like if he was allowed Miller would have been playing in these playoff games. That was how good he looked in camp |

Yea I think he has a great chance to make the team next year unless they make a splash in the offseason. Also hoping Morgan Baron is good enough to be a 4th line player next year. They need some legit players on that line. |

Yeah. Hopefully they can find a partner for him going forward. Don't think Quinn will break up Fox/Lindgren |

Tough thing with that will be throwing Miller up against the other teams top lines. Might not be optimal |

They're fine as long as they're on the 4th line and not playing 12+ minutes per night. |

I think Trouba is a good partner for that though, I am certainly looking forward to seeing Miller, I have had enough Smith and Staal
getting rid of the last year of those two contracts will be interesting too |

they need their 4th liners to be home grown, this picking up scraps from other teams isnt working |

Honestly I think Smith is the first player all time to be 3 feet away from the net and shoot the puck over the glass |

Oh definitely, its going to be tough getting Lundkvist up here. Wonder if they do cut bait with Tony. |

Can they make DeAngelo a forward? His offensive game is so good but he is so bad defensively |

There is our 4th liner
I don't think so, he would command a lot more than a 4th liner is worth |

they cannot overpay on the Tony D contract, they are in no position to
when they signed Panarin and then Kreider, they did that believing the cap was going to go to like 90-100 million in a few years and that is not the case anymore
not their fault, but this cap isnt going anywhere for awhile now, they just cannot overpay Tony D and Strome |

He was much better towards the end of the year, I really think he was playing injured these three games |
