Just curious, of the current Leafs' roster, which players can be counted on to get rough and fight? Who has a mean hipcheck but rarely uses it? Where is the toughness? There is a lack of intimidation factor.

Last scrum in front of the Leafs net, I saw Muzzin come in there pretty quick, but otherwise the pushback on that was minimal.

Do the Leafs currently have any toughness in the pipeline somewhere that is not being utilized?

Wasn't he not ready to play in the end? He had some kind of ankle surgery that he was recovering from? Also I think teams kicked the tires but he wasn't committing to coming back.

I saw Clifford's name come up a couple of times. The more Leafs games I watch in their entirety, the more I am noticing the lack of physicality. There should be more heavy hits, trash talk, and some measure of intimidation. The current state of affairs must make Clark, Domi, Tucker, and the rest of the tough alums sad.

But on the forecheck I didn't notice him being very physical. I understand he relies very much on his superb stick lift to regain possession, however a hit once every while would be welcome

yeah i think your right. seems by december he should be fully rested up. going to be tougher to go to a contender with the tight cap unless he takes a discount
