In a strange way, I find this posting somehow sums up the entire social media generation.

- oldstyle

Which is why the world ends up with this

https://twitter.com/adamp...tatus/1290794472738099207

Also, it ironic that it takes a 67 year old to sum up the social media generation. I still can’t post an image in here

Go Leafs Go👍

Curious to know what everyone thought of Marner and Nylander today?

- mr.sir

I thought Marner was a guy I really wish the Leafs were only paying $9 mln a season moving forward

And I thought Nylander was a guy I really wish we traded for Brett Pesce

Congratulations to the New York Rangers for being the first professional sports team in North America to successfully complete it’s postseason play during the pandemic.

Looks like Muzzin got a bit of karma, that hit he gave Delizle the other night against Montreal was very similar to what happened to him tonight.

Roeper likely knows more about the Isles and Canucks Salary Caps than most Isles and Canucks fans do. #caphell 🔥

Nothing that trading out a 1st & running a 20 roster won’t fix lol

Columbus is a really dirty team. Lots of head hunting in that game. Marner took two brutal elbows to the head on a sandwich check where both Columbus thugs nailed him. No call just playoff hockey - yet they call every tap to the glove they see.
- winsix

Agree. It seems muggings are ok & chops aren’t. Too many call it PO hockey I rather call it refs micro managing too often.

Based off some Twitter posts it's all muzzin's fault, Dubois didn't even touch him.

"Tripped over his own feet" and "got his skate stuck in the boards" and someone said that he fell 15 feet from initial contact, thus had nothing to do with it.

Seriously, why would someone who doesn't have a clue bother commenting.

it was a dirty play and should have gotten a penalty.
however, it's true that it wasn't like muzzin got pushed into the other player directly - he tried to get up after being pushed, tripped and then got very unfortunate.
(according to your reasoning, the refs are to blame because they called that very weak penalty on kapanen which eventually led to this play...).

First he was stunned a bit when he blocked the shot, then the crosscheck from Dubois, then he trips himself and fall into Bjorkstrand's knee. I'd say he was first of all extremely unlucky...! Hope he's gonna be ok.

Dr max doesnt have a good outlook on the situation.
But he has a wicked 4k tv screen, with zoom and Google Dr.

if you consider the hit, Muzzin with the tingling arm/hands and how they took him off the ice in a very cautious way with the stretcher, it is very obvious that the most reasonable assumption is that they feared (i phrased it in exactly that way before) a neck injury (damage to the cervical vertebra).
That's a very serious issue, in particular considering Muzzin's back-injury history.

Priority is obviously that he has no permanent damage to his body - but I think people should not be too optimistic of Muzzin returning to hockey anytime soon (if at all).
I would say there's only a 50/50 chance of him being back to hockey, and best case he's out for 2-3 months minimum.

The Pietrangelo to Leafs scenario all of a sudden got much more possible btw.

Let's just all hope Muzzin gets well - a really really scary incident.

please explain the 'ffs'.
it's obvious they were very cautious with his neck/back -- making sure no further damage (spinal cord injury) was done.

Almost the perfect game. Only downside is the powerplay. Gotta get that going but damn, we just beat the Jackets playing their style..love it.

0-5 stings, but on the flip side.. they didnt need the PP to win the game..easily.
the PP will score (probably)...so maybe it comes when the 5v5 is struggling

Well said. Though when we need the offense, I'd like to see Rielly back on the first PP.
