Why can’t Kane do the same thing McDavid does on the PK? Start high with the puck then head toward the dot with speed. It collapses the PK and gives McDavid tons of options including shooting of the pads and creating juicy rebounds.

That’s the biggest difference. Kane stands still with puck and dangles. McDavid is constantly moving and putting pressure on the PKers.

Seriously, I would like to see the worst record get the first pick like they do in football (and baseball). Everything else is simply a gimmick.

It's also being apparent we are lacking a top pair dman. Boqvist isn't ready. Koekkoek is a 7th dman at best. Fun to enjoy the extra hockey, but can see the holes in the team holding them back.

Tampa had an offense in '15 that was every bit as good as Edmonton and probably then some. But Chicago had a defense.

They could with how much PP time Edmonton is giving them in return but gotta stay out of the box for sure. Edmonton is top heavy, and those 3 guys McDavid, Draisatil and Nugent-Hopkins will get too many looks.
