what happens if we get past Columbus? Does that 6 months turn into 6 days?

You'll have to ask Max. I'm not a doctor.

BTW, Pens fans are begging Marleau to be scratched. Babcock was playing him 15+ in the playoffs. 6.25 per. Jesus. worst contract ever.

When the Leafs trainer who first ran on the ice learned that Muzzin had hurt his neck and was experiencing tingling and loss of sensation in his extremities, he had Muzzin lie down to be immobilized and taken off on a stretcher.

Team doctors then immediately contacted the hospital to let them know they would be delivering a player with a spinal issue and to lineup the testing he would require.

“The fear was even a small fracture in the neck can lead to impingement of the spinal cord and even paralysis,” said one NHL doctor who was watching the game but not involved in Muzzin’s care. “As soon as he was checking to make sure he could move his feet on the ice, the trainer did the right thing stabilizing the c-spine.”

What is the point of this. How does this, in any way, lead to you being an bumhole everyday?

how about those Habs. The off the head shot to win. Crazy goal.

Sorry, i understand it is hockey talk. My bad. I should add it was a very Liberal shot, to get back to politics.

Down 3-1. Came back to win 4-3. Pens will likely get 10 power plays next game.

If the Pens still had Jagr, they would have done something.

Pens look weird. They used to make opponents pay in the transition game. Now it looks like they want to be the Harlem Globetrotters. Too much perimeter passing. Players don't seem to be on the same page. Malkin seems to want to shoot each time he has the puck.

Maybe pass it to a teammate once in awhile? He had one really good assist. They're a veteran team and will likely turn it around. But they look nothing like the team which won back to back Cups. Murray looks shaky. I'd start Jarry next game.

It's tough to pinpoint. Malkin is definitely not working his way inside; he seems content to play on the perimeter. Letang isn't really driving off the back-end as much either. Maybe they've just all slowed down? Maybe they really just don't care that much? Crosby has looked good, but I don't see much else.

I completely agree about Murray. He's been terrible most of this season.

I agree with Malkin and Murray.

Malkin hasn't been the same, he's playing different for some reason. Murray has looked lost at times this year.. It couldn't hurt to start Jarry in an elimination game.

Pens might be aging. Complacency could be setting in. Crosby is still creating opportunities but it's like he has no help. I figured Guentzel would be a bigger factor but he's coming off an injury. Am I the only one who wants to punch Hornqvist in the face? I can't stand that guy.

I could see Jarry giving the Pens a lift. Pens should be mopping the ice with the Habs and they aren't. They gave the Habs hope and that's all a big underdog needs.

Again.
Standard protocol.
We all suspected he injured his neck. No one the extent.
But claimed as fact that he fractured vertebrae and possible ended his career.
It was too early for that diagnosis
You made a boo boo....and its ok. Quit doubling down on it.

The only very strong possibility at this point is that the least likely opponent is Boston.
