Myers was the least helpful.

He takes some stupid ass penalties, but half of the ones he’s taken I’m cool with, like the one on Kunin today

I was gonna say Tanev looks good, Motte playing well too.
- Pacificgem

Myers not so much.

Whipping boys deserve some credit too. Stecher, Beagle, Sutter and Eriksson were pretty solid.

Sutter and Roussel seem to be skating better than they have all season.

It's easier to be cool with penalties when the other team doesn't make you pay.

Fair. I’m just saying, it’s probably not fun getting cross checked by Myers after crashing the net. I think teams like the Blues/Bruins/Caps would react similarly after Kunin took that extra swipe at Marky

I was thinking that when he was pounding Kunin. I felt conflicted harping on Myers when he was doing what I had been screaming for all season. Sutter went super-alpha today.

And depending on the refs, that might not get called at all.

Great team win!
Got to watch the last half of the game (i think it started at 630am!).

Good to see some grit from the boys.
I won't complain about penalties (Even Myers) when he's roughing up the other team.

Also Hartman is a (frank)ing clown, dude injured himself after trying to draw a call on EP in game 2 and now tries to put EP out for the playoffs when he was hunched over and off balance near the boards.

If he actually fully connected on that hit, EP is done and Hartman probably gets suspended for at least the rest of the series at minimum.

You get a pass on this one.
Vantel if here would’ve been proud of Sutter.

Ask Leafs fans about Kadri getting a suspension for that same hit.

Speaking of Kadri and the Leafs, what a stupid trade that was. Soft team getting softer.

They eat their own there like some here do our own. Poor trade no doubt.

I didn't see it like that. I saw EP stumble just before he got hit. I think it's not even a penalty if EP doesn't stumble first.

Yup. They never punish the attempt to injure only if there is an injury. That's not enough of a deterrent cause the offending player gets what he wanted.

For all the penalty calls handed out in every game boarding isn’t called hardly at all.

All of those lousy signings by JB & depth he created is might cost us Laffy. Oh well game 4 bring it on. I can suffer some more intense hockey.

Definitely. PK clearly did well today.

Edler, Tanev, Stetcher, Motte, Sutter all heavily involved today.

Stechers fighting to prove he deserves his next contract. He's had a great compete level in all 3 games.

Agreed. Especially since he's fighting it out against guys like Staal and Greenway. Dude has heart. That PK sequence near the end of the game was great

He’ll get a contract but it’s the cost for a 3rd pairing that is the issue.
