Can see Stetcher doing that – and turning down a little more money elsewhere – as he's a hometown kid that's living his dream.

Wild don't have another gear. As said Wild were at their best in game 1 but Canucks had tons of room for improvement. Despite injury bug Canucks are just getting warmed up with Marky starting to get sharp too.

Here's the Canucks best scenario going into next round assuming they eliminate the Wild tomorrow and top 4 tournament standings hold. Hawks eliminate Oil, Yotes the Preds and they get matched against Avs and Vegas. Then hate to say it but Flames take down Jets to take the Blues.

Thus this leaves best match up for the Canucks to start the round of 16 playoffs vs the Stars.

$2.325m for Stecher as 3rd pairing isn’t a good cap number. Under 2m or trade him. I want someone else to compliment LHD Hughes Rathbone OJ. If these games up his value sell high.

Yeah Wild are a tough defensive team. Having another gear is not about playing hard. The Wild will and have in all 3 games. Its about doing something more play wise other then intensity vs execution.

But as long as the Canucks keep improving, SCORE FIRST, and don't make huge mistakes they will win cause we have seen the Wild's best not the Canucks.
