The one thing that I did appreciate was when the Nucks decided they wouldn't let Manny play after his eye injury even when he was so called okay to continue his career. I sure hope they take this decision out of Ferlands hands as well. It's just not worth it.

Get in Greenways head & draw more PP from him. Foligno just keep him distracted. Zack needs to skate & be engaged if in.

Could 6’4” 214# Bailey draw in? Big time speed

Graovac is 6’5” 208#

That's pretty sad. I was saying to my wife over an ice cold beer on our patio, that Ferland reminded me of Dorsett with his desire to play and to play hard. I love those type of players.

Great comparison. I felt horrible for Dorsett when he had to back away. I feel the same for Ferland. If it's over for him at least he can say he went out on his shield. Much like Dorsett.

Of all the players that wash out of the league for various reasons I respect these guys the most because they go out with their balls on their sleeve.

At least he got that one last 4 year contact that sets him up pretty good.

So pretty much Mac going in? I don't really see anyone else to replace the energy.

I don't disagree. I just don't see how Green can.

I think he'll go with the known player in Zac.

Maybe one of those guys gets in if Rous isn't able to play...

Yeah for sure in the back to backs, especially if you lose the first one.

You're saying Zac won't get in? Who would slot in then?

Short series, anything can happen! I miss the 5 game series and I think the season is too long. Do I want an extra round at he expense of a dozen games? I'm not sure.

I wouldn't mind seeing a dozen less games either way.

I'm saying I don't know how you keep him out. Who else steps in and provides that kind of energy.

Yes, I agree. Especially since a big body is down in Ferland, wouldn't make sense to slot in Gaudette.

Wonder if Rous will be good to go too...

The kid looked lost. I'd rather slot him onto the wing or at least have another plan at centre before I dressed him again.

Hard to say who's in and out without knowing the extent of some of the injuries. As Nighty pointed out lots of big bodies available though.

I like Gaud, he's gonna be a good player, but ya, seemed overwhelmed. But he looked like that his first year here – he'll grow into it.

If Pittsburgh somehow loses this series, do they shake it up with a big trade? Got swept last year, lose to a terrible seed this year.. no prospects and keep trading away picks...
