Yea I think playing online through WiFi comes at a price, I remember the kid always complaining that I eventually had to run a wire through the basement into his room

Could be the issue because my connection usually sucks from upstairs since the wifi is located in the basement

[quote=Pat1993]weren't you there for the exciting Danault vs Domi feud?

Aside from Domi being more unpredictable in his on ice behavior and high maintenance than Danault, him being diabetic is a concern particularly in this pandemic environment. Who knows how long this virus will last.

so you're saying they should trade Domi because he's a diabetic and is more at risk..?

Right?

Besides, the risk is still very low... his medical condition still allows him to compete in the best league in the world, pretty sure he's in decent shape!

https://www.diabete.qc.ca...for-people-with-diabetes/

The fact that you have diabetes does not increase your risk of contracting COVID-19. However, people with diabetes who get COVID-19 are at higher risk of developing serious symptoms and complications. The most common complications are pneumonia and acute respiratory distress. In very rare cases, COVID-19 can lead to death.

yeah he's in decent shape right now for sure, and it's not like he would automatically die if he contracted it... bottom line is it would be pretty (frank)ed up if the trade value for these players went down because GMs are getting paranoid loll

Hahaha, I don't think I said we should trade Domi, just saying what we need to consider. No one knows enough about this virus yet

imo your comparison with Danault was strongly implying this, bringing this up in a conversation about possible trades, but yeah there are a lot of unknowns concerning the virus. still, it shouldn't be a factor in any decision made.

With the Habs...

Danault 307GP 49G 122A 171P
Domi 153GP 45G 71A 116P

No GM in the league would want Domi over Danault? Especially a team that can't score like Le Canadien!?

I say it should be , but bottom line is that he only got 50 points in his contract year, big drop from his 72 points season last year. So I say 80% based on that and the other 20% based on health risk. I also don't see him gelling with Suzuki on 2nd line and does not make much sense to he on 3rd line

I didn't necessarily want to come back to this...

yeah I think it's gonna be pretty hard to reach a consensus here... maybe there wouldn't be a consensus among GMs either, who the (frank) knows. ideally I'd like to keep both, and put them in roles where they can be used efficiently, and if that means Domi on the wing so be it.

yeah I understand the drop in production, but I completely disagree with you about the "health concerns", no offense but I find it's a bit ridiculous. to each his own I guess

People say Domi pouts when put on the wing, is it possible that he's just a better C than he is a winger? He is a playmaker that likes to carry the puck

depending on who he plays with I think he could be happy at wing and have success. I'm not sure if it's definitely a deal-breaker for Domi to be at centre, or if he does enjoy being a hab and part of the team enough to accept a role at wing...

That would be ideal and I obviously don't have any concrete knowledge that's it's not possible but it's hard to deny that through 2 seasons, he's been far more effective as a C
