That would be ideal and I obviously don't have any concrete knowledge that's it's not possible but it's hard to deny that through 2 seasons, he's been far more effective as a C

usually isn't it the other way around though, where a centre can easily adapt to play at wing, compared to a guy who's always been at wing and asked to take on more responsibilities at centre? anyways, I find it's hilarious people would insult each other over this

Think the Leafs manage to beat the Jackets tonight? They started well enough and don’t seem to be missing muzzin too much yet...

Karine, do you really think Habs have a good chance of landing Lafreniere if they lose? I would try to win as much as we can now and have the kids play at the big stage. I think UFA needs to see what this team can do

Well, they have the same chance as every other team who loses, 1 in 8 isn’t a great chance but it’s still better odds than they had had the lottery been held under the same rules as it normally was. Fact is though, these are professional athlete, they play to win you can’t ask them to lose for a chance to draft some wonder kid. The likes of Weber and Price don’t have that much time left and it shows, Price has been playing lights out, Weber put in the effort every game and like Gallagher said during the pandemic when he was asked about signing a new contrat, the main factor for him is winning. The guy wants to win so of course if the team can show good things in this qualifying round, it may help them retain Gallagher who for me is a player that they cannot afford to lose.

Personally, I’m torn. As a fan, I love watching playoffs hockey and feeling the rush of the elimination games but my rational side is telling me that in the long run, they’d be better off either winning the lottery and taking Lafrenière or even drafting 9th. These are interesting times for sure for this team.

It’s been very good to see Suzuki and KK perform as well and you better believe that the rest of the guys on the team have taken notice, including upcoming free agents. Even if they lose, that display so far will have helped their cause.

Tsk tsk tsk missing your team’s game? Got to get your priorities right

True that they could use more contribution from their big guns but it’s a good thing when secondary scoring is happening. If Giroux and Voracek get hot in the first round, Philly will be even better. Maybe they’re taking the Bruins’ approach, these games don’t mean much let’s not run the risk of getting injured.

i'm sure they'll get going sooner or later. one of the announcers tonight said claude admitted that he wasn't happy with his own game during his locker room interview.

so if TB wins on Saturday, and the habs get rid of PIT, that means we would have a MTL-TB matchup in the 1st round? and if the flyers win, MTL-PHI?
