They played well, but the backhand spinorama pass to the other team wasn’t nice...then he puck chased and left his side wide open and they got a good chance. I was surprised to see him get another shift after that.

I'm struggling to find a good reason for wanting this team to win tomorrow. They aren't learning, the no heart narrative is as true as haters want it to be, and they simply don't deserve it.

Losing tomorrow means a chance at #1. Losing next round (which they will) means nothing.

Matthews was fantastic. Nothing wrong with his game tonight. He played a phenomenal 200 foot game(hits blocks) he controlled play all night.

Several other teams in this play off alone have had team captains who usually don't fight step up for hurt team mates. The leafs have at least a 3 year old problem of not stepping up physically. The Leafs made it easy for Dubois to score a hasty tonight when he should have been made to pay the price all night long. Muzzin is one of the few Leafs that showed his team mates the respect of sticking up for them in the traditional game of hockey that the rest of the league plays.

It's not hate, it's reality. When you sign the big money contract it comes with heightened expectations. 1 shot going into OT does not fulfill those expectations. Same with Marner passing into everyone's skates all night and Tavares doing whatever the (frank) he was doing. It's not good enough.

They all worked hard... They did. They got a lot of money to wipe those tears with to. No pity. 🤷‍♂️
