Matthews was fantastic. Nothing wrong with his game tonight. He played a phenomenal 200 foot game(hits blocks) he controlled play all night.

I respectfully disagree. I liked his defensive game, I always do, he is just paid to do more is all. If the oilers blow a 3 goal lead and mcdavid doesn't even get the puck on net... There's going to be questions.

It's not hate, it's reality. When you sign the big money contract it comes with heightened expectations. 1 shot going into OT does not fulfill those expectations. Same with Marner passing into everyone's skates all night and Tavares doing whatever the (frank) he was doing. It's not good enough.
