MM is a great player. But his inflated salary will prove an albatross for the leafs going forward.

And I want them to lose today. They don’t deserve to advance. At least we will get a lottery ticket. Much better than getting kicked out in the next round. They are not going far with that defense.

A 100 point 23 year old is worth a high salary, is he a tad overpaid? For sure but any team would of done the same to lock him up for 6 years and any team would give up the moon to have that contract on their team.

Marner is here to stay, for a few years anyways.

Let's wait and see what those guys who signed for 2-3 years instead sign on their next deal.

The best case scenario is obviously leafs win the lottery and MM gets traded for defense. But why would someone do a favor to leafs? They know where we sit.

Are we really going to go back to that "Andersen carries the Leafs" myth? He's had less work than Columbus goalies. He has also faced much less high danger chances.

Andersen at his best posts slightly above NHl numbers. He was one of the worst NHL starters.

He let's in softies every playoff year and hasn't wona series. His numbers are never even that good even when he's at his best. He gets way too much credit for every win and none for a loss. He' s faced less than than the goalies at the other end.
