Yes, I loved his celebration. It looked like he was ecstatic to finally get one! |

"sold is very relative term.. they are asking for a refundable deposit so you can get priority seat locations when they are selling the tickets. Zero.. and I mean Zero shot it's 75%" - niteislander
Instead of a cover charge they have a Covid charge. |

when they are doing poorly I tend to find silver linings to point out.. .that said after watching them play in this series. What can we say negative?
Lee- It's not just that he is not scoring. He is really doing very little that is productive at this point. It's scary that Beau, Casey, and JGP can go into the corners and their boards work is fantatstic and our bigger forwards like Lee, Brock and Martin were not doing that "dirty work" stuff in the least.
I will say that Lee was the one guy willing to get beat up going in front of the net but his failure to make one decent play in the O-zone on the boards in the corner or behind the net was why they failed to have decent chances. |

I remember when Trotz called out Beau and his Board work. I would not be surprised to hear him say that about Lee in an interview. to wake him up...
By the way.. how nice is it to have coaches you know will correctly diagnose and address all the issues? it's really the best signing for this team in 40 years. |

Beau is just such a solid player.. you can't teach a guy to go 100% every shift like he does.. We now have almost a whole team that goes full sprint every shift. fun to watch... |

I disagree a bit. I saw Lee and Martin battling along the boards. Brock not so much. |

Got ya. Well at least there’s interest, even if it’s refundable. It’s really only a little over a year away and we have the new arena. |

Beau is making Garth Snow look smart for trading up to get him late in the 1st round. Beau is turning into one of the best forwards on the team. I hope Lou has a plan to get him re-signed at the end of next season. That cap may not go up for a while, what with revenues down due to Covid. |

Regarding Martin (and the entire 4th line) I feel like they are on their last leg. They didn’t give up much in d zone but their forecheck isn’t half what it used to be. They used to pin teams in o zone for what seemed like minutes and hit everything that moved. Now it’s more dump and recover. Loved these guys in their prime. Even Czikas the youngest of the crew hasn’t been as physical. Maybe they’ll ramp up as playoffs progress. Hope so.

We have a great core of young, solid talent. Hopefully Lou can manage the cap to keep what we have, while adding to our weakness, a pure goal scoring forward. [/img] |

No question they aren't what they were. If won't be surprised if Clutterbuck gets hurt in the playoffs. |

I'd say we have a 25% chance of being upset with the draft.

He also took a couple big hits and it didn’t phase him. |

Nelson and his line were very good today, even if Nelson's "hits" are never going to register on the Richter scale. I was responding to someone who said Lee, Martin and Nelson were not battling for the puck, or along the boards, or something like that. It seemed to me that Lee and Martin were battling hard, whereas Nelson was being Nelson. He doesn't hit often, and when he does, it ain't hard. But for the record, I did in fact see him lay a couple of hits today. More importantly, he had a beautiful snipe for a goal. |
