I'm worried that when there is another injury tomorrow, Andreoff is going to have to be inserted into the playoff lineup without playing a game in 5 months.

Now you’re worried about rust! Nah, besides we haven’t seen Frost yet.

This technology will deliver Flyers in-arena content to simulate the experience of being at the arena for the playoffs.

I assume that means they'll have someone yelling "shoooooooooot!!!" and "hIt SuMBudYyYyYy!!!!!" in your ear all game.

5 month layoff Patrick still not able to play, and Raffl and Voracek injured. Not to mention Lindblom won't be ready until September if it all.

So the playoffs haven't even started yet and they are down 4 regulars. Par for the course.

- PLindbergh31

They’ve got where they are this season with no contribution from Patrick and already dealt with Raffl and Lindblom being out of the lineup and were fine. We’ll see what’s going on with Jake.

Would you rather be in the Jets position and have no Scheifele or Liane?

“ AV was pretty tight-lipped about why Voracek was unavailable -- he only confirmed that his absence from the lineup tomorrow isn't a coach's decision. For whatever reason, he can't play.”

Great.

I’ll give credit that Farabee looked a lot better yesterday than he did against Pittsburgh. He saw a lot of scoring chances. However, we did see a little bit of a Couturier, Giroux, JvR line this season. I’d try it out again. We need to know JvR has any gas in the tank and playing with third line players is a tough way to get that look in my opinion.

I agree in regards to JVR. He’s going to benefit most from whatever line can stay in the offensive zone long enough and put pucks on net.

The only problem is, Couturier line is also our checking line. They will go up against the Palat-Point-Kucherov line.

Imagine JVR checking Kucherov!!

I saw a mention of this on Twitter, as well as him favoring his one shoulder at the end of the game. Sadly must have missed both. I saw he took high stick in the 1st, too.

Also saw video of him hopping off bus BEFORE the game limping. So who knows. Hopefully he’s just out for precaution

Oh my god, Canes look good too.

Bolts and Jackets, no thanks.

Habs and Leafs, yes please.

- SuperSchennBros

The Metro Division could have 6 teams in the playoffs if CBJ closes out the Loafs and if the Pens remember they are better than the Habs.

My question is, why isn’t Hayes line doing the checking to free up the Couturier line?

Wingers don’t cover other wingers. JvR wouldn’t check Kucherov.

I thought after a nearly 5 month lay off they'd be at full strength.

The Jets at least have a chance at Lafreniere now. Who my kidding they have zero chance.

Ok now, Chicken Little. Take it easy. The sky isn’t falling. 1st of all Patrick hasn’t played all year and Oskar has been out forever. Raffl is on the 4th line for a reason. And other than Ghost, Jake was the one most people were screaming to trade early on when we were awful. And Andreoff has had just as much time off as the other 600 plus players in the bubbles.

why cant they set the game times yet? i assume they are waiting to see what happens with the elimination games? still it would be nice to have 24 hrs notice so players and fans can get schedule set.
i think joel scores a goal tonight on first line. maybe jvr will skate a little too. looking forward to seeing oskar in toronto, as he is practicing with his old team in sweeden now. building up to nhl pace i assume.

I think the point is that JVR would be a defensive liability against that level of players. Would almost be like playing 2 against 3. Better bet would be to utilize him net front on PP.

Flyers need to win tomorrow and the Habs to win today or tomorrow. Only way to play them is to be the top seed.

This was funny.

There is a line rush by Tampa. Who back-checks Kucherov on the right side?

Match ups aren’t an exact science. I’m sure JvR have shared the same ice many times within their careers.

No question but Hayes’ line is capable of checking and right now the offense of Giroux, Voracek and Couturier’s is suffering.

Does anyone have the Cursi on how often our other lines outside of the Couturier line actually checked a top line?
