Ive enjoyed watching the Pens lose more than the Flyers win this week - KINGKENZO
Watched the end with my roommate. Apparently I was giggling as the clock ran down. I'm not a giggler.
Still grinning about it!

so depending in tomorrow's result, it's either the habs or winner of toronto/columbus series, obviously, columbus is the hardest match up, win tomorrow and play the habs, don't depend on the leafs to make a comeback |

Give me the Leafs or Habs. Torts and his shot blockers can kick rocks. |

I figured with the situation that there were going to be some teams who really didn't want to play. Pittsburgh looked like one of those teams today. - MJL
Pittsburgh looked like poop every game they’ve played. My god. I would have loved to have watched the Flyers man handle them, themselves. |

If Chicago finishes this, you could potentially have a team with Crosby/Malkin or McDavid/Draisaitl win the lottery... that’s comforting. |

Your opinion?
Are the Pens starting to see the effects of trading away all the picks and Crosby and Malkin being a little over or was this just the shortened season and a bad situation??? |

Eh maybe. Think it’s a combo of things. think they overlooked the Habs a little. Also have to consider the team really didn’t play much all together this season between Guentzel and Crosby injuries. Then they barely got time with Zucker since trading for him. They also looked disinterested At times as MJL pointed out |

For the Pens, the window is rapidly closing. For the Leafs and Oilers, I’m wondering if it will ever open.
Let’s Go Flyers! Beat the Bolts and let’s set our sights on the Habs! |

Letang, Crosby & Malkin will all be 34+ plus next year, and there is little left in the pipeline. Their window has closed. Crosby will rightly retire as a Penguin, but if I was running that team, I’d be shopping Malkin, Letang and any decent player over 25 this off season. They need to begin to rebuild.
I’m hoping they are too stupid to see this though and that they keep chasing the dragon. (frank) em! |

The Flyers don't NEED to win tomorrow... but they could really help themselves out by beating Tampa.
And you know what? If the Flyers were to win the Cup, I wouldnt care WHO got the #1 overall.
I have to think though: if hockey manages to get through the playoffs without a 'rona related disaster, that this will be easily the strangest on-ice Cup celebration ever. |

im not saying the pens would have beaten the flyers. far from a sure thing, for a number of reasons. that being said, i think they would have had a much better shot against the flyers than what they just vomited up. |

not to sound cocky, because yes i do think the pens window is largely closed. but you look at toronto and especially edmonton, and its a lot of collective why the (frank) are you guys like this.
you have far and away the top two scorers in the league, and i dont think anyone reasonably thought they would have beaten chicago in this series. and its not as though you sense they are on the cusp of turning the corner either.
same with toronto. and that all star talent is held together against the cap anyway. just a lot of yikes.
