I honestly wasn’t impressed by our performance outside of game 1.

Thought we looked very flawed, as in more flaws than your typical playoff team. Maybe that’s why I’m so down on our chances moving forward. That and the level of competition is gonna be night and day compared Edmonton.

Yep, this is great, scared the poop out of my wife when 8 scored. Having a cocktail to celebrate, no matter how you slice it my team winning playoff games and making it to the next round, doesn't get much better than that unless it comes with a Stanley Cup

The NHL has done a vg job of giving the illusion that the stands aren't empty. The piped in noise and virtual fans have created some atmosphere.

I’ve been under the weather the last eight months with little energy to do more than read the posts here. Finally beginning to come around. When COVID hit in March I worked from home and my company offered me a package to retire, I have been eligible to retire for three years and had been padding my pension. So the buyout came at an opportune time. Still awful way to begin my retirement and I wasted some gorgeous June and July weather. The family is good, all the kids are secure in their jobs which is lucky in this environment. How are you doing? Started teaching yet? Two of my daughters who teach are planning how they’ll deal with the challenges they’ll face in September.

JFC. The chance was slim. I really don't see much difference between 9-10 and 16-17 in this draft.

This experience will prove valuable for the young kids.


It helps that I have full confidence in Kelley and his staff to find a good player in either spot.
