We all should have known when Milbury started doing the autopsy on TOR and their character that they were going to come back. Milbury is the cooler to all things hockey... |

I'm so glad the Hawks were able to hold the lead vs the Oil. |

We should have traded Rodney and kept Lehner, Stan failed again. I was one of the guys that wanted the Hawks to play well and lose in five to have an opportunity at #1 pick, but I also don’t like to see the Hawks lose. These kids are gaining playoff experience and getting more comfortable out there, that bodes well for their future. Go Hawks! |

Well there goes my Lafreniere dream ... who cares. How can any Hawks fan not be happy with the effort tonight. Crawford was outstanding and the defense in front of him was good enough. That was fun. |

The goaltending experts will be here soon to list all of Crow's weaknesses. But they will leave out what big game players do when big games are played. Its something to do with battle level. - RickJ
he is not a shutout goalie...nor is he athletic like so many loser goaltenders like the one Q has..but he battles and never quits on the puck, positionally/technically strong and he tracks pucks...he wins big games...

Good series. Hawks deserved it. Enjoyed watching Toews resurrect his play of a few years ago and Kubalik & Dach wreck the oiler d. Still hate that greasy haired Keith, but he was alright this series. Crow was good enough. Good luck going forward. |

Speaking of greasy - remind James Neal he needs to register in his neighborhood... |

Bobrovsky, Lundqvist, Rinne, Lehner, Anderson, Murray, Dubnyk.
Not trading Cro career for any of those guys. |

If Crow plays lights out and Toews continues beast mode we might have a chance. |

Crow has his weaknesses like every goalie but lack of athleticism isn't one of them. |

JFC. The chance was slim. I really don't see much difference between 9-10 and 16-17 in this draft.
This experience will prove valuable for the young kids.
It helps that I have full confidence in Kelley and his staff to find a good player in either spot. - Elbows15
I mean, did we not just beat a team with the “best player in the NHL” and two other #1 picks? A balanced roster and character can mean a whole lot more than generational talent come playoff time.

After the oil tied it 2-2, Crawford stopped the last 34 shots
Oil with 20 scoring chances and 10 high-danger chances in five-on-five play over the last two periods.
32 scoring chances and 15 high danger chances if you include the penalties over the last 2 periods |

He really began tracking the puck well after that
He and keith at that point seemed to play at another gear. It can be real exciting/fun to see if they get another playoff jump to their step.
And really good for guys like Boqvist, Murphy and DeHaan who havent had much playoff experience or success

Vegas has better depth up front for sure. Their D is a just collection of guys. They play their system well but they are beatable. The Avs lack some depth up front but their D is better.
Crow is the best goalie of the bunch, maybe. Depends on which Flower shows up. When he is on, he has had a giant horseshoe up his ass against the Hawks. |
